As Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows prepares to launch this summer for Xbox LIVE Arcade, the PlayStation Network, and PC via Steam, Activision Publishing, Inc. and Red Fly Studio are shining a light on each of the varied personas that make up this formidable team of heroes in a half-shell. Today’s trailer goes behind the purple bandana and the brains of the operation: Donatello.

Like his younger brother, Michelangelo, Donatello isn’t particularly aggressive. More scholarly and contemplative than his Turtle brethren, Donnie prefers to think problems through rationally, looking for solutions that avoid unnecessary fighting.

Donatello is slower than his brothers on the battlefield – but also far more methodical. Donnie is a thinker, even in combat, with a knack for analyzing situations quickly, giving him the largest window for counters. The long reach of his heavy bo staff makes him adept at sweeping up multiple enemies with each swing, generating considerable knockdown strength that bowls enemies over.

Ever the engineer, Donatello’s tireless tinkering in his workshop allows him to produce some game-changing weapon upgrades unique to each Turtle. His own design – the Gravity Gauntlet – lets him bend the laws of science and send enemies skyward. Donnie’s technical prowess also affords him the ability him to hack computers and security systems – perfect for when Raph and Mikey’s “smash everything” approach to troubleshooting falls short.

Defiance, the groundbreaking futuristic online open world shooter from Trion Worlds Inc. has expanded its world with yesterday’s premiere of Syfy Network’s Defiance TV series, and now players can continue that narrative in-game as these two unique epic properties combine to create one massive universe. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today released an all-new trailer for the upcoming DC Comics fighter Injustice: Gods Among Us – set to launch next week on April 16 – which focuses on the Green Lantern’s role within the game’s story and his struggle to defeat his ultimate foe. A sworn intergalactic defender of the innocent, within the story of Injustice: Gods Among Us, Hal Jordan is forced to clash with a carbon copy of himself.
